Major University stores Over 4,500 Student Tablets
Many institutions of higher learning provide, load and maintain student tablets and laptops to assure consistent technical capabilities and enhance communication.
With this responsibility has come the need to store these educational tools. Traditional storage devices are not really designed for effective storage. Past attempts have damaged the tablets, have made it difficult to identify individual tablets, have required too much valuable floor space, and have been anything but attractive.
After several attempts at adapting shelving for this use, Seton Hall University’s, Irene Wang, and Garden State’s, Steve Earley, came up with the perfect solution:
HAMILTON SORTER FREESTANDING MODULES ON A KOMPAKT HIGH DENSITY STORAGE SYSTEM
- Space Efficiency – Over 4,500 Tablets in an area of 120 square feet!
- Safety and Equipment Protection – Each tablet is stored flat, as it was designed, on an adjustable vinyl shelf to avoid damage and scratching.
- Easy Identification and Retrieval – Each adjustable “pigeon hole” has a color-coded protected large label.
- Aesthetics – Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so a variety of finish combinations can fit in any office décor.
