Garden State Office Systems & Equipment, Inc. has been solving filing, storage and records management problems for New Jersey businesses since 1976. The privately held company specializes in space and cost efficient filing and storage systems. A Charter Member of the International Systems Dealers Association and Exclusive Dealer for Kardex Remstar LLC., we also represent over 100 additional manufacturers, making it possible to create tailor-made solutions to the customer’s problems.

Garden State Office Systems & Equipment, Inc.’s founder was Director of Marketing with Sperry-Remington, the Office Systems Division of Sperry-Rand Corporation. The accomplishments of Remington and Kardex include the introduction of the first wooden filing cabinet at the World’s Fair in St. Louis in 1894, the first Electro-Mechanical Filing System in the early 60’s, and the Industriever 8000 Vertical Storage and Retrieval System in the late 80’s.

For 40 years, Garden State Office Systems & Equipment, Inc. has been a leading provider of Automated Storage and Retrieval Solutions for Records Management, Parts and Tools or whatever materials and supplies are stored.

As a Kardex Remstar Super Dealer, Garden State Office Systems has all the resources of Kardex Remstar at their disposal, both in Westbrook, Maine and in Germany.  Through Kardex Remstar’s vast dealer network, we can be a resource for customers anywhere in the USA.

Our systems specialists are trained and experienced in two areas, Office Solutions and Material Handling Solutions. With over 100 years of combined experience, our team is dedicated in using their creativity, technical skills, and extensive training with the many products that we have to offer in order to create the best solutions for both office systems and material handling.


Garden State Office Systems also has a staff of factory certified service and installation technicians and a warehouse with demonstration equipment.  In addition, we also have factory certified subcontracted techs have been sponsored to work during peak workloads.

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

24/7 service is available and after hours contacts are always provided.

Under normal conditions service response time is 2 to 4 hours.
